Me: Portland portrait photographer, born and raised in California though I fell hard and fast for Oregon upon moving here in 2009. My early love of thumbing through my parents National Geographics and my constant need to create while growing up fueled my desire to enter the darkroom years ago…my camera hasn’t left my side since.
I’m a big fan of the snooze button, warm summer nights, always living near a body of water and wandering a nearby farmers market. I feel at home anywhere near the ocean and freshly fallen snow makes me a bit giddy. I will always have my camera, my running shoes, and my dogs Callie and Buddha, nearby. I’m married to quite possibly the worlds funniest man and consider myself the luckiest girl. The first thing on my mind every single morning is COFFEE. I could probably survive solely on Salt and Straw’s Sea Salt and Caramel Ribbon ice cream.
My sessions are a mix of candid and posed, typically with lots of laughter so I can capture the real, genuine you. A sense of humor, even inappropriate, is a must. I fall in love with pretty much every session I do because I LOVE what I do. I strive to document those moments that you want to freeze in time.
I’m always up for traveling, so if you are outside the Portland area and would like to inquire about a session, please don’t hesitate to contact me! I do a select amount of wedding per year, so please inquire for more information.
