The Byrnes family is another wonderful family I met through this amazing organzation. I’m sure they’re having a hard time believing their youngest, Joseph Jr. is graduating from high school this year, just as I have a hard time believing they have college age children! I met Joseph Jr. and his dad up at Chambers Bay around sunset. I had driven by Chambers Bay back in September after this photo shoot, but I had no idea it was even more beautiful once you’re actually at the legendary golf course (home of the 2015 U.S.Open!) It turns out not only is this a beautiful links-style course, but it’s right next to what used to be a paper mill, industrial site, gravel mine and a bus barn. Needless to say, it’s surrounded by old, run down, terribly interesting architecture. I cannot wait to go back their for future shoots!
I know a photo shoot isn’t exactly a senior guy’s idea of a great time, especially on a Friday night, but Joseph Jr. was a great sport about it. He brought a few things to incorporate his favorite sports which was fun to see his personality come out in the photos! He’s eyeing Texas as his next stop for college and I can already tell he’s going to do great! Congratulations and wish you a stellar senior year!
