It’s hard to believe it was MONTHS ago that I ran down to my former hometown of San Diego for some wonderful family photography sessions! It’s been a BUSY few months for me. Once summer ended and my travels came to a halt for a bit, the husband and I bought our first house and closed right before the end of 2014!! What an OVER THE TOP exciting year!! We’ve been settling in our new space and that’s when I started working on a new face for Erin Elizabeth Photography! I really wanted to draw inspiration from the BEST coast-the West Coast, that is! My logo is a little bit of deep sea blue, fir tree greens, granite grays inspired by the Cascades and my beloved Sierras…and of course I had to keep a little sunshine-y yellow from the original logo! It’s been such a fun ride developing and growing my photography over the past few years and to really have a feel that defines my look and feel is just perfect.
With that, and a little bit of settling down on the homefront, I bring you the first of a few San Diego sessions! First up was one of the most adorable families I know. I’ve known Nicole for a LONG time now! We met my first weekend in college at San Diego State University when we were living next door to each other in the dorms. Little did we know we also had gone to the same high school! We’ve been close friends ever since and when Victor came into the picture a few years after we met, the rest of our crew new they were a perfect match. It’s the most wonderful thing to see their little family grow as they welcomed their beautiful little girls. Just take a peek at a few of my favorites to see what I mean! Hard to believe this was considered fall!! Also, this family and the BEAUTIFUL San Diego sunshine at Fletcher Cover in Solana Beach was a photographers dream, especially a Portland photographers dream…it felt like summer!
