I’ve known the Melton’s for well..since before they officially became the Melton’s! I met Julie shortly after moving to Oregon and have watched her love story to Jason unfold, and was lucky enough to capture many moments along the way! I even did their first maternity session many years ago when they were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Connor. Well now their family is growing again and Baby Girl Melton will make her debut any day now! They were troopers and braved “the storm of the century” and met me at Frenchman’s Bar in Vancouver. While the name sounds appropriate for new parents (eye roll here), it’s actually one of my favorite locations as it’s the best for rain! It has a funky barn structure that is perfect for rainy days, backs up to the Columbia River, and has great variety of scenery. Pair that with an adorable family and viola! Even Connor got in on the fun – just give a boy some rain boots and puddles and fun is sure to follow!

Without further ado, enjoy this beautiful rainy day session at one of my favorite locations with one of my favorite families! Can’t wait to meet baby girl any day now and in the meantime…enjoy those last few moments as a family of three!
