I had an abundance of mamma-to-be’s this past fall, which means this winter brought all the newborn babies!! I was in heaven and the first few sessions of the year were brand new babies, which I have a big soft spot for! I am known around my friends as “The Baby Whisperer” and nothing makes me smile more than holding those tiny squishy adorable bundles of joy!
You probably remember Megan from her gorgeous maternity photos at Wahclella Falls. I couldn’t wait to meet Baby Eli and neither could his Mom and Dad. IN fact, Eli was almost 10 days past his due date! Good things come to those who wait and needless to say, he’s just perfect. He was awake for the majority of his session and I always warn parents, it’s like the newborns KNOW they’re being photographed that day! While I typically do newborn sessions in home, their home was undergoing construction, so we got to enjoy a fun new photo space at Studio 1904 . Oh, how I long for a studio space! One of these days!
What made this session even more special was that I got a few photos of Eli with Mom, Dad AND Grandma! I cannot stress how important it is to get in the photo with your little ones! I treasure the photos I have with my grandparents, especially since all of them have now passed. I loved that Megan and Todd both were up for being in photos. I told you they would be rock stars at this parenting thing!
Without further ado, Baby Eli!
