The Victorian Belle Portland Wedding

I’m so excited to share a sneak peek at this NE Portland wedding! You know the wedding is going to be amazing when the engagement photos were an adventure that included  sliding down coastal sand cliffs, walking barefoot on boulders to get close to crashing ocean waves and so much laughter and smiles you feel like you’ve known the couple for ages.

Enter Alicia and Anthony, the sweetest couple who I’ve know how the pleasure to get to know for almost 18 months. The two chose such a gorgeous NE Portland wedding venue, The Victorian Belle, a historical victorian house with luscious gardens and the most beautiful intricate details. The day came together so perfectly.  It truly was a blend of vintage garden with soft rose tones that came to life with the most gorgeous floral work around every turn!

The two made their day so personalized and I loved how they incorporated family into their day. Alicia’s mother who sang at the start of the ceremony (my jaw dropped when I heard her sing!) to the beautiful floral arrangements made in honor of loved ones who were watching from above. OH, and let’s not forget the cake that Alicia’s mom MADE. When I was going over the details of their wedding day 18 months ago, Alicia casually mentioned “We have a tradition when the mother of the bride makes the cake.” She didn’t mention her mom is also insanely talented at cake baking. This was actually a professional style 3 tiered cake complete with the most perfect fondant roses.

The day was so lovely, the dancing so fun, the only thing that could top it was…a final mini trash the dress style shoot at the Salmon Street Fountain downtown! What a way to kick off the adventure of a lifetime for these two lovebirds! Congratulations Alicia and Anthony. Thank you for the honor of capturing your perfect day!
