The other day I was talking to a coworker about her upcoming wedding that she’s been planning for almost a year. “I still have 4 months left and now it feels like I’m just waiting around!” she exclaimed and then sighed. Now, I’m all for taking as long as you need for an engagement (my husband and I were engaged about 8 months before our wedding) but I love it when couple’s also say “Let’s just do the dang thing!” This is exactly the route Molly and Spencer chose! They were engaged in late April and had the date set for early August. It all worked out so perfectly and all the right vendors came together to create their gorgeous day at Summit Grove Lodge in Ridgefield, Washington. This venue was so perfectly tucked away in a forest like setting, with such beautiful details around every corner. I also have to say that Molly may very well be the most organized bride I’ve known…and the most on time bride I known! That, coupled with their amazing family and friends who they surrounded themselves with that day, made this couple so much fun to get to know!
Ignore the fact that it POURED just after cocktail hour and didn’t stop all night, this couple didn’t let that stop them from having time of their lives at their Ridgefield wedding. We were all singing and dancing to their amazing live band, The Broken Cowboys. Yes, even yours truly! Congratulations Molly and Spencer! We all enjoyed celebrating your love story.
