It’s never lost of me how important family photos are, it’s the reason why I started this business in the first place! This family has NEVER had their photos professionally taken. Needless to say, it was quite an honor to be able to capture them in a fun, natural way while up at the lovely Hoyt Arboretum last month! This family session at Hoyt Arboretum was a reminder of why I love this place. There are few places on the west side with these views. It is also dog friendly, which worked well to this handsome pup who this family is clearly head over heels for! The fall leaves had just started peeking out here, and while it was off and on raining that day, we lucked out and were able to have a great time together.
This time of year feels a bit chaotic as I scramble to fit everyone in before the weather turns. It’s sessions like these where I’m reminded why I do what I do! We’re so lucky we have so many beautiful locations here in the PNW, but this place is always one of my top fives around town. Check out a few of my favorite images from this session. We enjoyed walking around exploring the trails and Griffie enjoyed eating his special treat of waffles and bacon! That’s my kind of dog, right there!
